Sarma Behbood Spanta Company succeeded in obtaining a license to produce a cooling device for newborns suffering from hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy in 1402. This device, which was produced for the first time in Iran and the Middle East, currently has a few manufacturers in the world.
Also, since 1400, this company has been able to obtain the international ISO 13485 certificate for both its cooling cap and infant cooling device products.
The neonatal cooling device manufactured by this company, due to its high level of technology, has been approved by the Vice President for Science since 1402 as a knowledge-based product, and Sarma Behbood Spanta Company has been included in the list of knowledge-based companies.
